Arrival.info
Flight curb ETA: when will an arriving passenger reach the curb?
Enter a flight to see Arrival.info’s current, explicitly uncertain passenger curb-ready time with confidence, freshness, source, and limitations.
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-19
Landing time is not curb time
Arrival.info estimates when an arriving passenger may reach the destination airport’s public curb—not only when the aircraft may land.
A result keeps the airport-local curb time, confidence or range, freshness, source class, timing components, and limitations together. It is a decision aid, not a guarantee.

What moves the curb clock
Flight arrival anchor
Available actual, estimated, or scheduled flight facts establish the current destination arrival anchor and status.
Passenger path
Taxi-in, deplaning, checked bags, border processing when applicable, and terminal movement add time before curb readiness.
Destination context
The answer is rendered in the destination airport timezone and keeps the source’s terminal, gate, freshness, and limitations visible.
What every estimate carries
- The flight number, route, flight status, arrival anchor, terminal or gate when available, and destination timezone.
- The estimated curb time, minutes after the current arrival anchor, confidence, and uncertainty range when the contract can support an ETA.
- Generated, source-observed, expiry, age, and freshness fields so a quoted answer can be checked in time.
- A source class, model version, field coverage, component summary, and explicit limitations.
Safeguards behind the answer
Deterministic
The v1 answer path uses normalized flight data and Arrival.info’s canonical curb-time engine. It does not ask an LLM to calculate or fill missing facts.
Read-only
A request does not create a pickup, change HUG, consume an entitlement, add a participant, or send a notification.
Cost controlled
Anonymous requests are validated before provider access, rate-limited, budget-governed, cached briefly, and coalesced when identical.
How to cite an Arrival curb estimate
Use the canonical page title, contract version, and URL for the method. When quoting a live result, keep the flight number, destination, generated timestamp, source class, confidence or range, and limitations with the curb time.
Publication makes the page eligible for discovery. It does not guarantee indexing, citation, AI summary inclusion, or automatic API use by any model.
Questions about Arrival curb ETA
Is curb ETA the same as landing time?
No. Landing is an arrival anchor. The passenger may still need taxi-in, deplaning, checked bags, border processing when applicable, and the terminal walk before reaching the public curb.
How current is the estimate?
Every typed response reports when it was generated, when its source was observed when available, when it expires, its age, and a freshness status. Cached answers keep their original generation time.
What happens when Arrival does not have enough data?
Cancelled, diverted, stale, ambiguous, unavailable, and insufficient-data responses do not contain a curb ETA. The contract returns an explicit state and limitations instead of filling missing facts.
Can an LLM call this automatically?
Direct clients can use the published OpenAPI contract, but a public page or API document does not automatically connect the capability to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or another model.
Does checking a flight create a pickup?
No. The public lookup is read-only and does not create a pickup, mutate HUG, consume an entitlement, add a participant, or send a notification.
